Interesting that this quote appears next to an ad for Donald Trumps' campaign - especially as it is Mr. Trump that inspired me to look up the exact wording of the quote. Perhaps I could paraphrase in his honor: "Wise men tweet because they have something to say; Fools because they have to tweet something.” That is, if there is any such thing as a wise tweet. Cheers!

now, back to your question. that statement is so true because wise men know they are intelligent so they don't speak often about random things and the fools who think they are intelligent speaks all the time because they think they have so many things to say that are actually important.
