Well, the fact that your bf signed off on the ownership is illegal for one! You have the dealership by the balls! You may get your bf in trouble, but there are legal steps you can take. The automotive industry is not favoured when proceeding go to court, 9 out of 10 times you will win in a situation like this.

Their Business Manager should have never let the bf sign off on the trade, this type of back door dealerships give the ones like mine a bad name!

Call a lawyer.

Are you saying the cops can't do anything to the car lot people? The fraudulent transaction started with your bf, so maybe the cops can't do anything when you are only targeting the car lot people. Get a lawyer to talk to the cops, but you should know the car lot people will probably go after your bf because they did give him a car and why should they lose money.

You need a lawyer! But first, file a complaint with the DMV for title fraud. Your b/f is probably going to be busted for this, and possibly the dealer. Press charges! Don't let them get away with this kind of crap!

The cops lied to you. They certainly CAN do something. Go to the police station and speak to a detective.

Oh, and one more thing. You will probably be asked to write out a statement, maybe several. When you do that, do yourself a favor and write in proper English. You're not texting on a phone!

if you told the cops the same thing you told us on here, they should have took you and your bf and want to the car lot and arrested the people that told your bf to sign your name. if you and your bf tell them the truth, your bf will not get in trouble, but the car lot people should pay a big fine for telling people to sign other person's name.

certain, this can fall on you (twist of destiny, kills someone, arrested, etc). because you gave this man or woman who curiously couldn't get a vehicle criminal permission tochronic the vehicle (contained in the interest's of the regulation, you own this vehicle). it truly is a criminal offense to promote a vehicle to someone and not using a drivers license or help an unlicensed man or woman in getting in the back of the wheel of an motorcar. do not hearken to anybody who tells you any distinct.
