That would be the religion I would be interested in.

Jesus was a Jew in nationality only. If you have examined his teachings, you would know that he was not a religious Jew.

Jesus was a Deist.

It's possible he was an atheist if you take his references to "God" as being allegorical rather than literal.

Jesus was born into a Jewish family. Jesus however was rejected by the Jews and because of that He was accepted by the Gentiles or unbelievers. He will return again at the time when the Jews are in need of a Savior, which is coming very soon now as the Jews are being surrounded by their enemies. This time they will recognize Him as their Messiah and He will save and restore His people and this will be the beginning of the 1000 year reign of Christ on earth.
So I would say love the Jews. They are God's chosen people. But love Jesus and serve Him, not religion but Jesus.
Lots of love,
Cathy

While Jesus The Christ grew within the mortal body he was The most faithful Jew. Jesus was, of course, The King of The Jews. But The Nation of Israel rejected Jesus. On the day of Pentacost, following His Sacrifice, The Church of which Jesus The Christ is The Head was made open to ALL. That Church is now The Body of Believers who have accepted Jesus as Their Lord and Master and have come to God in The Way He proscribes... Any who come to God in His Way are of The Church and of The Christian Faith.

I accept email questions concerning The Christian Faith. Or, you can check me out at:

Jesus was a Jew that disagreed with some of the points in the Old Testament... therefore he was sort of like the believers of today who decide what they want to keep and what they don't on a whim from their holy book inspired by God. So, good job Christians, you're living as Christ did.

Christ was Jewish, but he felt things were not all right with the Jewish faith so he acted out against some of the teachings and that is why many other religions were formed by worshiping him because he is "the way, the truth, the light". So you should look into Christianity

He was an orthodox Jew, not an essene. He expected the pharasee's to do what was right for the people instead of making themselves rich, so they accused Him of heresy to get rid of Him. He Jewish people interpreted messianic prophecy to mean the messiah would be a warrior, but that was simply bad interpretation. The last supper was the Jewish passover dinner, which was the reason for His being in Jeresulem in the first place.

Hazrat Issa (Christ) like all other prophet comming befoe him followed the same religion. The name is irrelevent as the language has never been the same. The teachings of these phophets were distorted and more prophets came one after the other for guidance and making corrections to the man-imparted concepts and practices in religion. We Muslims believe the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad to be the last of them. He corrected any false concepts surrounding this true way of life and God gave him is Final Book we call Quran. It was final as God, according to this book took the responsibility of protecting it from all changes. And so far it has been unchanged for 1400 years. Muslims now call it Islam. Which is the arabic of "Submission"

Jesus was raised in the Jewish tradition, and there is evidence that his parents were part of the Essene culture. However, once Jesus acknowledged that he was the messiah, then the Jewish religion was made irrevelant. No, Jesus was never a Muslim. Jesus taught peace.

I would say He didn't follow a religion, He WAS Judaism, I actually believe he was a rabbi.

As He said:

Matthew 5:17-20
"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.

He was the fulfillment of Judaism.

Hope that helps

Jesus followed the religion of holiness. For God is holy.
Leviticus 19:2
2)Ye shall be Holy: for I the Lord your God am holy.

Jesus came in the full representation of God himself. In
St. John 10:30
30) I and my Father are one.

I pray that you seek the one and only religion ever given to man from God himself; HOLINESS. There is no other religion written in the bible. I pray for you. Amen

Jesus was a Jew.

The Jewish Messiah is supposed to be a man, and not God, and is supposed to be a military leader that unites the Jews and defeats their enemies. Sound like Jesus to you?
