Well, there's always the ultrasound. Or an amnio. But if you're not that far along or don't want to go the scientific route (or can't), there are some 'old wives tale' ways. The one that worked best for me was to take your wedding band and tie a string to it. Then dangle it over your wrist or your belly. If it moves in circles, you're carrying a girl. If you're getting back and forth in lines, it's a boy.
The Chinese Gender chart worked for me as well, although I know people for whom it worked - in reverse. They had the opposite (each time) of what they were told. With that one, just remember it's your LUNAR age they want to start with, not your calendar. It's different.
Let's see, what else. Drop a key and pick it up. If you automatically pick it up by the round part, it's a girl; if you pick it up by the straight part, it's a boy.
How are you carrying? High and all over is a girl, low and just in the belly is a boy.
Oh, and the biggest one my mom friends and I found - monitor your leg hair growth. If your hair grows faster or stays the same - it's a boy. If it grows slower - it's a girl.
(Note that there are exceptions to all these 'tests.' But it's fun to speculate anyway.)

you could go to the doctor and he will do some tests (if your baby is not too young) and you will know but if you want you could have some pictures of your baby (by doing some tests ) and maybe the doctor will know!
bye

another great tool, which I have always found to be accurate, not only for myself but for several of my friends as well, is the chart found at http://www.thelaboroflove.com/chart/cal.html
