We did the family thing too. It was a great time. The kids are getting bigger and I began to realize that in a few years we will be empty nesters. That part was sad. However, I am wondering what nudistfamilyrus's husband got that he has been wishing for? lol Good Luck

My husband got me interested in model rocketry (at age 42!) last year, and we went to a rocket launch in Muncie, Indiana, where they launch the really big ones. It was great to see them on the launch pad, then zip! Straight into the sky! And it was great to hear people saying how much they liked the one I had that I built from an original design. The only sad part was when the parachutes didn't open on some of the big ones, and they had to be carried back in pieces.

I went out to San Diego and spent some time down at the beaches there... I'd always wanted to see the Pacific Ocean.
Also in San Diego I discovered the Carls Jr is the best fast food place in existence.

I got back together with my boyfriend and we went on vacation. Scenic and quiet, since we went during the week, Lake Greenleaf State Park is a beautiful spot.
We fished, talked, swam, made love, grilled, and slept late. Great vacation.

took a trip to europe in April (so, nothing beats that).
However, I went to a theme park with my kid this summer, and that was nice.
