It works for some people. I think mostly for people who already have somewhat white teeth but not yellow teeth.

On a comparative foundation, tooth whitening toothpastes in most cases aren't viewed to be essentially the most powerful kind of enamel whitening merchandise to be had, specially considering that their final result is just one of casting off superficial particles versus growing a real inner colour difference as is the case with peroxide-centered whiteners. However, there will also be occasions whilst a whitening toothpaste is the quality alternative. One of the noticeable approaches to scale back staining of the tooth and advertise healthful gums is by means of ingesting tons of water. Drinking plenty of water steers you clear of ingesting fluids which are darker and have a tendency to stain or discolor tooth. Coffee, tea, and particularly darkish coloured soda's are a few of the most sensible beverages that go away stains on tooth. An occasional beverage that ends up in staining isn't a main issue. Constant intake of those varieties of drink isn't conducive to tooth whitening.

Yes, for most people the WhiteStrips work. So do the various other products over the counter (OTC). How well any of them work depends on several factors. The good thing is none of them are expensive. Try them. If you're still not satisfied, see your dentist. Profesional bleaching, bonding or veneers can be options to consider. Hope this helps.

Crest Whitestrips worked for me, but its quite a commitment, they take awhile to work (like a week, i think, maybe 2) and then they dont last very long.

If you're looking for something more permanent, you'll either have to use them for months and months and months (and they are pretty expensive) or you could try switching toothpaste. Ask your doctor for a recommendation. And you can ask him about other whitening solutions

They say it does on TV,and it has been getting all good reports.I used it and it worked for me...but then the teeth go back to being stained again after a couple of months[I drink a lot of iced tea] I also used Rembrandt and that burned...again lasted a few months...next time I will go to BriteSmile...pay the $500 and hope for a longer lasting white smile. If that doesn't do it...the next step up is veneer's.Very expensive!

I used the kind where it comes with goo and two trays, it seems to work better than the strips. I've used a couple brands and they're all pretty good. They make my teeth too senstive though, I'd rather them be slightly diet coke colored!

They do work..kind of. I found that the white fades a bit with time (I'm a heavy coffee drinker!)
You can try brushing your teeth with a baking soda mix. It helps to naturally bleach out stains in your teeth, and even out floride divits.

bothing over the counter works at all effectively. the strips do not touch your entire tooth, so ven if it did work, you would have spots that were still yellow.

?you have to get them hard core whitened at the dentist. They have the patents on lockdown and are making sure noone is able to market it cheaply

if you got retainers after they took off your braces then when you put those on you should wear the strips things under the retainers thats what i did and it seemed to work.
