Hair Question?

Question

My girlfriend told me she wants to give me highlights. I have medium blonde hair and she wants light blonde streaks in it. I am gonna let her do it. She bought a highlighting kit with a cap but there are no instructions. Can anyone explain how she is supposed to give me the highlights?

she needs to pull the hair through the holes of the cap, if you want a lot of highlights pull through every hole, if you don't want a lot of highlights then do every other hole. Mix up the dye & apply it to the hair that is pulled through untill every strand is fully coated with dye. Leave it on until you see the desired color & wash out well, then remove the cap

In the kit, it should have a cap. The cap is supposed to go over your head. Then, your supposed to pull your hair through the tiny holes on the cap which can be a bit painful. The hair that comes through the cap is the hair to be colored. If you aren't really sure on what to do, go back to the store and take out directions from another package. It's best to know what you are doing than to mess up your hair.

Honestly if she's never done it before she shouldnt be doing it.

She can probably go on to the site of the company whose product she bought to get instructions, but I would NOT do it without following instructions. If she leaves the product on to long not only could you dry out (read=fry) your hair, it could burn off.

Why dont you just squeeze some lemon in your hair and go lay in the sun and try that for a bit while summer is still an option.

mix the two things that r not conditer put it on the comb brush ur hair were u want hightlights wait 45 mintues rinse it out take a shower use ur conditer from the kit dont shampoo then wait for it to dry style as disared
