Been months now with no word...wife is using fiance visa to move to the United States.

I've read that it takes anything from 4 - 6 months depending on what processing centre you have to apply to.

I issue fiance visas all the time. It usually seems to take between two and five months from the day the petition is approved until the applicant is ready to interview. The length of time probably has to do with how busy the particular service center is.
