Have you tried getting on his level? Get on the floor and play with him...take him outside and play tag or hide & seek. It sounds like he's just seeking attention. Do something constructive with his energy...he's only 4.

Are you babysitting him? If you are, keep the monster busy by taking him to parks, playgrounds, etc. The more energy he works off the better he will be. If you are babysitting him, I hope the money is worth it.

If you are not babysitting him, stay away from him as much as possible. The kid sounds impossible to deal with.

Good luck, he will get a little better as he gets older.

Your cousin is a manipulative spoiled brat. He's learned to control situations by his screaming and the antics he pulls. Learn to walk away and just leave this kid standing to scream in a room with no one in it! If the kid follows you to another room, leave once again! Ignore...don't respond....because once you do this kid has got you exactly where he wants you and he'll be in CONTROL again!

WELL I WAS GONNA TELL YOU TO BUST HIS LITTLE A@@ BUT YOU DID SAY HE WAS 4 YRS OLD SO THE MOST YOU CAN DO IS IGNORE HIM EVEN WHEN HE'S NICE DON'T ANSWER HIM OR DO ANYTHING FOR HIM AND JUST ACT LIKE HE IS NOT EVEN THERE AND TRUST ME HE WILL GET IT, AND WHEN HE ASKED YOU WHY DON'T YOU TALK TO HIM EXPLAIN IT AND TELL HIM WHEN HE ACTS LIKE THAT YOU MAKE HIM INVISIBLE SO YOU CAN'T SEE OR HERE WHEN HE IN NOT BEING NICE , TRUST ME I DO IT TO MY NEPHEW ALL THE TIME AND NOW HE IS A JOY TO BE AROUND . IT MIGHT TAKE SOMETIME BUT STAY CONSISTENT AND WATCH WHAT HAPPENS

I have a 4 year old myself and I know what you are going through, trust me. You just kinda have to ride it out with them and hope that he doesn't come over for too many visits!!

we also have a 4yr old son who is adhd and the no treats thing is a very good thing...try giving him yogart (plain)..and very low or no sugar treats..there is such thing as sugar free candies..kids don't know the differance..and we have him play with play dough all the time..ask him to make a car or something creative..believe me it helps..good luck and god bless..it's hard work with children like that
