I agree. I am a christian, but can't stand it when so-called christians verbal or physically abuse women/girls that are going through such a horrible experience. If you want to get into someone else's business, then you better have solutions, and not just commandments. A woman which no means to support a child should not be told to just do it anyway! Are these people willing to provide her with the financial and emotional support she needs as well?
Don't they realize that by stopping some of these women from having abortions would only lead to ruining 2 lives instead of 1?
I am against abortion, and make it clear to everyone I have been with that if she gets pregnant, i will want to raise the child. But that is My decision (along with the ladies that have agreed), and nothing I want forced on me by others.

>>>Do you really believe you are doing gods work by terrorizing an already terrified girl or woman who is about to make a very difficult decision?<<<
Your overemotional rhetoric ("terrorizing") makes me believe that you have not actually ever been present at an abortion-clinic protest.
No "terrorizing" takes place there. The pro-life people who are there simply try their best to talk the women out of killing their babies.
It's a pity that you're not at all bothered by the real "terrorizing" -- the mutilation and live dismemberment of unborn babies inside their mothers' wombs.
It's a shame that you're so concerned about not hurting a woman's feelings, but not at all concerned about doing real violence and causing real suffering and death to a baby's body.

I don't know personally, because I have never done it, but I have heard of two reasons given:
1) Some protesters seem to believe that they can talk someone out of having an abortion at the last minute.
2) No one notices, and no news service will cover, a protest that is held in the middle of nowhere. If someone is protesting the building of a new nuclear power plant, for example, they protest at the work site; not out in the woods where no one will see it.

no ,they are trying to stop a murder, and the people outside are trying to make people see, that they are killing an unborn human, yes its human
its not just a mass of cells ,it's not a snake,or Bird,or dog she's carrying, its human, and its MURDER, and after she become pregnant, she should no longer have a choice in whether it lives or not, just because it's her body, what about the baby, where are it's rights
and if she is terrified, she should be,she should have used protection and found some means of birth control, abortion, should not be used as a birth control method, these people are irresponsible, and heartless, having a fetus, sucked though a suction tube,in pieces, and some people wait til the baby is 3-6 months and the baby feels pain,PAIN,
DO YOU PEOPLE UNDERSTAND,PAIN,
especially when its partial birth abortion and the doctor jams a knife at the base of the child's brain and sucks out its brains,OH
THAT'S A PRETTY PICTURE, they all should be ashamed, and afterwords,95% are,and they never get over it,NEVER

I'm a prolifer who has never protested outside of abortion clinics. I'm also vehemently opposed to overturning Roe v. Wade. Because it will only make it illegal to stop abortions, but does nothing to resolve the underlying differences.
This is one of the reasons I support organizations such as Democrats for life, whose goal is to create support networks to reduce the need for abortions in this country. And this does include providing support networks for the children and mothers after being born.
These Christians and other pro-lifers are concerned about the taking of life. Because abortion does not help the baby, only addresses the mother's concerns. To us, abortion is being used a method of birth control in many cases, and that is a total tragedy.
The solution is to provide a support network for both mother and child. By providing this support network, you provide a way to protect that child's life as well as taking care of the mother.

I dont believe that people should go outside abortion clinics and protest. But Jesus sure as hell wouldnt have killed an innocent baby. There is a such thing as adoption.

the girl wouldnt be terrified in the first place if she just thought that she might get preggers before doing anything and just because she is terrified doesnt mean she has the right to kill a life! and you're not doing God any favors by condoning such acts. Yes. thats what it is opinions but mine goes by the Book.

true Christians do not protest anything, they do not get involved in politics or ideas of the world. their only goal is to teach people about god's ways and laws. and that doesn't involve being a nuisance in the since of protesting or being outright 'against the law'.
Jesus told them to be 'no part of the world'. those that protest movies, abortions, and such are not following that command. those people know that abortion is wrong, theirs no need rubbing it in or being so rude to them for doing so.

I believe it is a womans choice and a difficult one. The ones that are protesting will set up their little protest sight and give advice but will be nowhere to be found when the child is born and needs stuff

No, Jesus would probably not do that, but if the terrified girl or woman believed in Jesus, she would not be there in the first place. Sorry, can't agree with you on this one. :)
