Do you find as you get older and open yourself up more spiritually that you meet more people on the same spiritual wavelength ? People that you just "click" with automatically ? How do you respond then to the people who have been in your life for years that just don't understand you spiritually ? Do you find them tiresome ? restrictive ?
Do you cut them out because you feel they are holding your own spiritual evolution back ?or do you keep them at a distance ? or do you endure them due to familiarity .
Thankfully my best friend and I seem to be evolving spiritually at exactly the same pace and even if we haven't been in contact for a few weeks we still sing off the same song sheet and find we have been exploring the same things, but there are others in my life I feel are holding me back.

Consider who and what holds you back. It may be that their paths have diverged from yours, or that you have grown stale to one another. Hang with those you feel happy with, and be kind to those who came before. It may be that this is simply a passing spell of boredom and you will come to see the others in a different light in time, and it may be time to say farewell to some of those around you.

I understand what your saying. I'm going through that with one of my friends, only we aren't evolving at the same pace and I don't know what to do. We no longer connect the way we use to. It's hard to even have conversations anymore. How do keep up a friendship when you feel you're drifting away?
