Because some women are moronic hypocrites.

I WANT TO BE TREATED LIKE A WOMAN. Open the door, close the toliet, take out the garbage, and pay for dinner. In exchange I clean the house, cook dinner, raise the children, and have sex whenever. That is the deal.

Why are women so loathe to take this excellent deal?

What funny is that women used to be more dominant when they played the role of matriarch. The Feminism came along and they showed us they can be men too. *laughs*
Some men ARE weaker than some women... some women are weaker than other women. Yet we all have to live in a world where one prick will say women are useless and another man-hater says men don't handle their share of household chores.

If you hate Women, don't date them... let the good guys have them. If you hate men, LEAVE US ALONE! Don't use us for money and to father your children while we work like dogs and you don't appreciate it because you had to fix dinner... You people are freaking terrible!

However if you are good guy with a tough girlfriend, or a good girl with a strong man... or two partners who work together on everything as equals. God Bless you and love the one you're with!

I carry out the garbage, leave the lid up (and I don't complain about it!) and I have opened doors for men. Usually ones who are carrying a heavy litigation bag or a stack of folders or something else cumbersome.

Being treated like equals applies to pay wages, share household chores and have the right to be free to make our own decisions. The toilet seat and opening doors is taking the point too literal.

You're ignorant! While you're sitting around being a chauvanist, women now represent the majority of college students across the board. Schools are now recruiting men with lower GPA's and lower SAT's because they would otherwise have an unfair ratio of men to women! (Like 30/70). Get off your butt and do something with yourself!

Oh! And they are the ones graduating with more honors than men as well and making higher starting salaries. Why should we take out your garbage when we make more money than you?

I don't think that women are EQUAL to men, just as I don't think that men are EQUAL to women. We all have our spots in life.

Men are strong, providers, protectors.

Women have strengths, are lovers, and nurturers.

Sad that our society - especially women - doesn't see it that way. We're all being sold a bunch of bull about equality and all. PLTHTH!!! I don't want to be a man. I have a man! I love my man. I love to be the woman behind and supporting my wonderful man.

Don't give into the garbage.

Man, if Chivalry was infact still alive....you just killed it. I do open doors for myself and take out the garbage but I refuse to leave the toilet seat up. Try aiming......lazy

Forgive me, but you might just be missing the point. Equality isn't about toilet seats, it is about not treating an entire gender as second-class-citizens. Stop treating inter-gender relations as a competition.

Actually... I do. Except I have to keep the toilet cover down so my cats don't drink out of it!

I'm also pretty handy with my power drill, and mow the lawn when I have one to mow.

Because feminism isnt about equality, its about domination. See "Rantings of a single male, losing patience with Feminism, poliitcal correctness and just about everything else" Great book.
