Let's say our probes on mars discover ancient civilazations (which evidence is beginning to point that way) and find bones and dna, that proves we are the martians. Would that change your biblical beliefs? Isn't is possible that the garden of eden was indeed on mars????

Im not a Christian but I am thoroughly aware of that faith.
I dont think such a revelation would even dent the creation myth. They'd just claim that the "seeders" were directed by God and they'd claim that the garden of eden made more sense if it was on another planet - thats why we've never found it.

At first, believers would likely claim that the evidence was falsified by scientists, then ban any government funding of research. Later, when privately funded research finds evidence that is undeniable, the believers would then claim that it doesn't matter. Where do you think the planet came from with the other seed? God, of course! These people (believers) make this stuff up as they go without need for evidence in things that do not exist. Faith is silly.

But pretend can be fun!

We were but it was god who did it.
God doesn't live on the earth he lives out in the heavens probably someplace else.
I mean where was he before he made the earth?
He even says he lives in heaven and the earth he made for the sons of men.

Nope, I believe that God created all life, here and everywhere else too. I don't feel that life is limited to earth or even our universe or our dimension.

"What if" questions are based on theory and not fact.
While it might be amusing it is in general non-productive.
