My daughter's cabrio is leaking condensation on the driver's right foot. I'm thinking that the air conditioner drain line could be stopped up. I need to know how to check for that & how to unstop it. I'm just a mom - not a mechanic by any stretch! Thanks!

there is a drain hose on the fire wall/bulk head that you will have to access from underneath it is most generally covered with a heat pad since the exhaust is right in front of it there is a perferated area that looks like a dog house opening or the cartoon mouse holes (archway) take a small screw driver and remove this small padded are then the drain is accessible then take your fingers and squeeze it or a small object and insert it in it the spout points down and alot of times the rubber pieces get stuck together and cause the evap box to overflow with the condensation. email me if you need any more info. be careful to not remove this rubber spout assy. is difficult to reinstall. when done reinstall padding/heat protectant.

Take an air hose and power blow it from the outside grill vent. Make sure that the vents are set on the "fresh" mode.
This usually when you park under trees and leaves clogg up the system. Also, it could be that the drain under and behind the center console is draining inside rather than outside. Locate hose and put it thru hole in floorboard were it belongs before mold spores build up underneath the carpet.

you are right but to fix it i will recommend you to take it to a shop because it should be blown out with compressed air. some of those drain tubes can only be accessed underneath the vehicle. they shouldn't charge you anything or offer to buy them a 12pk of there choice. but also make sure its not coolant. hope this helps
