Yes.
In God's eyes, hate equals murder. If you hate someone than you have killed them. Just like you said, death and destruction. Hate only brings negative actions and responses, nothing positive.
Now love on the other hand, I believe is the most powerful emotion. If you love somone and that person knows it, they feel comforted and appreciated. I will always love my family and no one can destroy that. My love lives forever and comforts them. Just like you said, it heals and lives forever.
God bless.

OnFireForJesus!,
"Do you believe this is true?!?
Hatred leads to death and destruction
But love heals and lives forever"
In only a narrow sense of those broad verbs, love and hate.
Hatred has all different kinds of levels. God hates some things.
Love is not God. God is love but it does not describe Him completely.
By saying that "Hatred leads to death and destruction" it is true only i the sense that if God hates something it will die or be destroyed in time.
"But love heals and lives forever" is only true if it is in faith that it is applied, and it is a Godly faith out of love and in His will.

Yes because although hatred may not lead to a physical death it does break you down inside. The power of love is under-estimated. Love can push us through our saddest days and it is only with love that we are healthy and we can begin to heal.

I can think of a few examples of where love can lead to pain and suffering and where hatred can lead to peace and prosperity so no, I don't believe it.

Yes, But hatred, death, and destruction are not necessarily bad things. I hate the men who raped me, there for, I will destroy them and cause their death.

I would have to disagree.
I can't help but gravitate towards the Buddhist principle that all pain & unhappiness evolves from desire, the desire to love & be loved...
