if you have long hair try making 2 loose braids each night before you go to bed.... i have long hair and i got into the habit of when i lay down on my pillow i sweep my arm behind my head to brush my hair above my head to hang over the top of my pillow.

also a satin or silk pillow case can really help.

Make sure to put it into a braid or bun. This helps a lot from personal experience. A good hair conditioner can help too.

Use a cream rinse after shampooing. Makes a huge difference! I suggest this out of experience.

Do you mean knots? Brush it before you go to bed and put it in a ponytail or braid.

i wake up and go straight in the shower. i start off with conditioner to get all the knots and tangle out. leave that in for like 2 minutes, wash it out, and do your normal routine.
