I use different professional products because I am a stylist and I like to have first hand knowledge of what a product does. Although every ones hair is different, if you go to a professional they can guide you in what to use for your type of hair. My hair is thick and curly on the verge of frizzy so I use heavy conditioning and moisturizing shampoos. I love "Sleek looks" by Matrix and the professional products do cost more but in the long run you get better hair and you use less, so it last longer than over the counter products

As far as shampoo and conditioning goes, I always use Pantene ProV. My deep-conditioner is the Garnier Fructis Sleek-n-Shine deep-conditioning mask.
As far as products go, I use a leave-in conditioner (which helps with split-ends) every other day and the John Frieda Frizz-
Ease Hair Serum every other day as well.
For example: on Monday, I'd use the leave-in conditioner.
Tuesday: serum.
Wednesday: leave-in conditioner.
Thursday: serum.
You get the idea.
I've been using this method over the past year, and people tell me they envy my hair all the time!

I use Pureology brand shampoo, conditioner and styling products. They are only available from salons, a bit more expensive but you use way less of them than a drugstore brand. I like them also, because they are not tested on animals and are 100% vegan. They also help my colour last longer!

I have thin, dry, unvolumized hair. I've been using Tressemme Clarifying for all hair types and so far its been working better than any of the salon crap I used to use (Matrix, Lanza, etc...).

i use "Stay Straight' because my friend got mad at me and put a chunk of gum in my hair, so I have a short spot in the back. I also use Garnier Frutis hair spray because I love to sstyle my hair and try new things!
