Many people from different countries or regions have their own regional accents, which is what makes language so interesting.

First of all, even if what you say it's true, it's due to their accent and pronunciation.

Second, it's probably not true, as there are black American people all over America, so it's impossible that they ALL have the same accent and the same pronunciation.

"Mc" stands for "Mac". So it actually should be pronounced "MAC" and not "MICK". But because there are so many accents and ways of pronouncing things, I really don't see the point in being bothered by the way some people pronounce the name of this shitty fast food chain.

And why do you call black people "colored" people? It sounds like you're racist.

This has been happening for years in spite of the incontrovertible fact that it incredibly is nevertheless unlawful to maintain a replica of copyrighted music except to procure it and it relatively is to your guy or woman use. Years in the past on each occasion i offered a sparkling album i might replica it to a cassette for my own use it incredibly is legal. Now whilst i purchase a sparkling CD I make WMA copies of it for my Walkman which continues to be legal as long because it incredibly is for my own use and to no longer provide away or sell. think of of it this way: What in case you have been fashionable and had a facebook website with a million friends and you wrote a blog some great new CD you in basic terms offered and asked everyone in the event that they needed a replica to deliver you a sparkling CD and you will make copies for them. Do you think of the artist or checklist businesses might come once you, damn real they might by way of fact it incredibly isn't any different than report sharing music!

It's not the color of the person, but the accent with which they were raised. I know people of all races who use the pronounciation "Mac".

Also, the "Mc" is actually an abbreviation of "Mac". So really, either pronounciation can be used.

I also think you're an ignorant twit.

haha! so what am i if i'm a mixed hispanic-japanese-filipino?
it's not the color that affects the pronounciation but the tongue.

they used to speak their native language that's why they can't pronouce foreign language the way it should be.

or they were able to read it first before they heard it - is also one factor that affects the pronounciation. they don't know the correct pronounciation at first.

why don't you try to learn another language and let's see if your tongue would twist or not... would you be able to pronounce foreign language correctly for the first time?
try french, german, greek, or japanese... or spanish...

try to read and pronounce this one correctly:
asuncion

if you can't, well it's just because you're not used to it.
i'm just giving an example for you... so you could understand... because you are asking. intiendes?

i think you're just a racist who needs to learn a lot.
thank you for asking.

Ok....What are we 19th century? What's up with 'coloured' people.... my God some people still haven't grown up.... and honestly what does it matter how you pronounce it, you still know what others are referring to....

and personally, I pronounce it, 'mick' seeing as i am a 'coloured' person... just wanted to prove you wrong. Also 'coloured' people aren't the only ones who prounouce it 'Mac' ..... 'colored people'.... Wow. I seriously don't know where these ignorant people come from.... we're in 2006 not 1806....some people still surprise me with their ignorance.

IT IS MEANT TO BE 'MAC'! McDonald is Scottish and means 'son of Donald'. It is pronounced 'Mac' Donald. Do you have toe-may-toe and bay-zil soup too? Thought so...
