Even when Moses brought the Jews out of Egypt, they saw the plagues befall Pharoah and saw the Red Sea part, yet they still built a golden calf. What a tough crowd to please.

you know how when we are in deep trouble and we start praying oh Lord just help me please, i will do better if you just help me now well after awhile we sometimes end up doing the same stupid things again,after already being delivered from our pharoh. so even though those people seemed stupid in many ways we are the same speaking metorphoriclly.and judas was born just to do what he did. Gods will be done phrophecy fufilled

It human nature to want a "right now" fix on things. Judas wanted money and didn't care what the cost was. All of the Isrealites wanted something visual that they could worship (because they did not fully understand how God was invisible) so they built the calf to give God His own symbol. Which we know is wrong.

Prophesy needed to by fulfilled as it was foretold in the book of Isaiah. With Moses people then and today they are looking for religion.

That's why God chose the Jews. He chose the worst case to show the world that if you obey Him you will be blessed beyond imagination, and if you don't -you will be cursed.
If God can love the Jews, he can love anyone-and that's the gospel .

haven't heard of the recently found gospel of judas, huh?...you should try to find out more info about it....as well as those of you who just think he was being greedy....
and think of it this way....if judas had not turned him in, he would not have died on the cross.....at least not when he was "meant" to
