The rule for the caloric count for alcohol is this: the lighter the color, the less calories. Darker alcohol has more. Vodka is best, but you can try light rums and gins, as well. But if you're looking for a low-calorie drink...don't mix with coke or fruit juice. They're full of sugar and calories. You can try my favorite low-calorie drink that I rigged up, it's mojito-inspired:
Muddle (that basically means to mash it together) a few fresh mint sprigs, a slice of lemon, and a slice of lime with two packets of Splenda (I find it tastes better than other sweeteners), add a shot of your favorite vodka or rum, let it sit for a bit...add ice, top it off with soda water, shake it up, and enjoy!

Probably vodka with water / soda water.....
personally I don't like it, and prefer a light beer...
But if you enjoy vodka maybe try it with a non-fat juice...
Myself I prefer beer, and I found that Miller Lite is the best choice.
Less calories and carbs than others like Bud Light, Coors Light.
However if you down a dozen of any beer it will add the pounds!

Drink vodka with Crystal Light, that is pretty good and very low in Calories... also Michelob Ultra is the least amount of carbs and very low in calories... Miller Lite is very low in both as well but Ultra is the lowest in carbs... just watch your snacking when you drink that is what hurts you the most... If you exercise and eath healthy overall you can indulge in light beers and vodka drinks... I like that recipe that other answerer gave with the Splenda and vodka with lemon, what a good idea.

If ur doin the low carb thing, all hard alcohol is great. I drank diet coke/Bacardi all the time and still lost 40 lbs.

Watch out for the fruit juices and the sweet mixers - that's the killer stuff.

Oh, another great drink was Ciroc vodka and sugar free Tropicana punch. YUM! And, zero carbs!

Everclear. Because your liver and not your digestive tract breaks down alcohol, you derive less calories from the high alcohol/ low sugar content of everclear. Put a shot in a diet Dr. Pepper!
