Go to mapquest.com and put in your starting address and destination under the "DIRECTIONS" link. When it tells you the distance, divide that number by how many miles per gallon your car gets, then multiply that by how much gas costs per gallon. There is your cost! Don't forget that you will probably be doing other driving, so that is just your cost to get there. Multiply by 2 for round trip cost!

You can go to MapQuest and figure out the mileage from where you are to where you are going in PA. Then take the miles per gallon that your vehicle achieves and divide this number by the miles and you will have your total gallons used. Then add that number by about $3.25 and then you will have a cost.....

You probably know how many miles to the galllon your vehicle does, so why not look at a road map, measure the distance to PA, divide it by your vehicle's m.p.g. and multiply the answer by the average price of a gallon of gas.

Best way to do this is to figure out what kind of gas mileage your vehicle gets. Then figure out the miles you will be driving and do the math. You should be able to get with in a few dollars.

Yes there is a good one that magically guesses your car's engine, your driving habits, and the future cost per gallon at every gas station you will stop at. I think it is called www.growabrain.com

you need to know haw many miles your car gets per gallon first.
Then divide those miles (per gallon), say it is 25mpg, into the distance (map quest) say it is 600 miles, and you get
600
___ = 24 gallons of gasoline X $3.00 per/gal = $72.00
25
Remember the price per gal is different in each State and town for that matter.
Have fun on the road.

Mapquest to see how many miles you will be going. If you know how many miles your car gets per tank of gas, it can easily be calculated.
