My husband had a set of flowered dishes by Corelle when we got married, and the pattern has been discontinued. (The pattern was rose and sea-foam green colored.) I would like to replace some of the dishes I have broken, and maybe add some more glasses and plates. Does anyone know where I can find discontinued Corelle? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Girl,

I would limit my searching to Garage Sales and Flea Market/Thrift Stores.

Corelle is not much of a collectors set (That's why they sell for less than $40 for a complete set, including cups). Also, since Corelle didn't come out until the 70's it won't have much value. No Value means not worth storing.

I do have a great idea though. Why not start your own tradition. Find a pattern of a similar dish (Corelle or other) and make up your own collection. Wouldn't it look nice to have a Dark Green solid color dish under those Sea-Foam salad plates, Or pick up a color from the flowers and use that color. Even a different pattern might look good with those (maybe a nice small checkered pattern, One color) that would go nice with the flowers in your set.

You have also proved Corelle wrong. Corelle was originally sold as the "Unbreakable" dishes. While they don't break when dropped right side up, just BUMP the edge and BOOM!

Good Searching!

Ebay is a good place to buy pieces from different patterns. Also visit the Corelle site, as they have a survey as to which patterns should be brought back. Vote for your old pattern and hope it gets chosen.

I would check on the Corelle website or check on ebay. Alot of times people are selling just what you are looking for.

I'd write Corelle. Otherwise you can look for them at yard sales, Clearance centers, Factory Outlets, thrift stores etc...

There are alot of Corning outlet stores around. They probably have your pattern. You'll probably see some of the newer patterns and decide to change. These stores are in the big outlet malls.

You could follow the really good advice above, or take up two new (for you) hobbies that could consume your life from this moment forward.

Garage sale (ing) and Antique (ing).

don't do it. - keep running.
