You can either blow dry it straight, or while it's still wet put some rollers in it. Let your hair dry 100% & then remvoe the rollers, then just comb out the curls. What you'll get is nice straight hair with lots of volume, very pretty!!

Try using one of those straightening balms that you can buy at a local drug-store. Apply it to damp hair.

Before blow-drying, separate your hair into nine different sections, three on the sides and three in the back.

Use a paddle brush and use the blow-dryer on the hottest setting.

Using an added concentrator, go over each section of hair slowly three times.

Then flip your hair upside-down and blow-dry slowly using a paddle brush.

Flip back up and again blow-dry your hair in sections. When hair is completely dry, blow dry the sections with a blast of cool air.

If it's still really curly, you might just have to try a flat-iron.

You can go to a salon and get it chemically straightened. The draw back to this is that what grows in will be curly. If you feel up to the maintenance, then this is the best way to go.
Or you can keep it cut very short and try for extensions or a wig.
Good Luck!

Try using gel and slicking it back into a ponytail. When it grows out, the length might weigh it down so that you'll have wavy hair instead of the "curly mess".

When it comes down to it...you're you. If you don't want long hair then cut it. If he LOVES you, then it really doesn't matter what you look like. Just be comfortable.

At the same time...don't change to be rebellious, change because it makes you comfortable. And if you do decide to keep long hair, remember to use a good leave-in-conditioner and if you straighten it use a CHI...it's the best investment a girl could make. GOODLUCK

You could get a straight perm. I did this once at home. You get regular perm kits from a beauty store and instead of letting it set, you comb your hair.

blow dry it straight. take a big brush while your hairs still damp and blow dry 1 piece of your hair at a time
