my daughter has eaten only applesauce and has no problem with this but is now getting hungry for food. she believes she will able to see the doctor wednesday

Fat is the most important thing to avoid. The pain of gallstones occur when your gallbladder releases chemicals to break down the fat and a gallstone plugs up the works. Plain carbs (bread, rice, potatoes) bland chicken, bland vegetables should be fine.

She should be able to very bland food. Bread, potatoes, rice. Stay away from anything spicy, dairy and meat.
I had my gallbladder out a couple of years ago. What a relief!

avoid all foodstuff that contains fat,,,,especially saturated fats ,n oily foods.
