Three hours and no rational answer, I am getting the impression that people believe in god because they feel it is the right thing to do, 100 years from now there will be no religion.

No. I'm an atheist and I only believe in science. Nobody has ever produced to me any scientific evidence that he exists. All I have seen is people making quotes from what I would describe as a 2000 year old novel. Until someone can prove to me that the bible was based on scientific fact, i will always regard it as a figment of someone's imagination. i guess that's why they say "U gotta have faith" - cos there is no scientific fact and everyone wants to bypass that tiny detail.
I'm not being offensive to anyone's faith in particular- this is my opinion and i'm entitled to it

I am not a religious person, however, I do have a relationship with God. I don't believe that one has to choose a religion in order to believe in a creator. It is more important to be a kind person and to think of humanity and continuing our existance.

Yes I do. this beliefs is based on the fact that Jesus died for me on a cross and that he was Risen from the deads three days after and that, as a consequence I am saved.

I do believe in the possibility of God. However, I do not believe that any of the current versions of God are correct.

yes...i just don't believe in religion...regarding the basis...no one will understand...i'm still in the process of turning my thoughts into words myself...right now i just feel it...i just don't believe that we've reached the pinnacle of the human evolution...there's just gotta be more...to conclude that there is no God is totally ignorant and lazy...to conclude that there is is optimistic in a way...and that's what i am...this is not the terminal of the human evolution...i believe that there are still more to be discovered...

I see too much pain, suffering, and killing in the name of God to believe that any worthy God, any merciful God, would ever allow such barbarity and ignorance, especially in His name.
So no, I realized that there is no God long ago.

i beleive there is something there but not quite sure what
i dont belive in adam and eve as they were ment to be the first people on earth to populate the world but if u think about it they had two boys does that mean that the boys had sex with there mother? its all to confuseing for me lol
