if he didn't call to tell u he was gonna be late and it wasn't a legitimate reason for him being late and u did try calling him then no i wouldn't be mad. altho it kinda depends on if ur male friend likes you...that would be a tough bullet to bite on

Repeatitive, senseless lateness is a horrible thing and makes
it seem like the person just doesn't care.
However, people occasionally are late for good reasons
(traffic, accidents, people die, 9/11 ...)
To go out with another male friend with that little provocation
makes me think that she is too serious about the relationship.

I'm obviously not a guy, but I just want to tell ya, if he isn't there by 10, then who cares if he gets mad if you leave? Don't give him the satisfaction of waiting around for him. Go out and have fun with out him!!

Indeed. It would be different if it was a female friend. It comes off as you trying to be spitefull deliberately. And in all due respect, I think you were. But he should have at least called. But you also should not have gone out with a male friend.A female would have been different.

If I called you in advance, maybe a little, but then again, I did say 8pm and not 10pm; so I'd eat the crow on that one.
If I didn't call you in advance, I'd be sure that I wear a bullet proof vest the next time you see me.

Mr. Chivalry says, "Generally speaking, yes and no. She would make it look like she is not faithful to the guy. However, she wouldn't have to go out if he kept his word. If he was going to be late, he should have called and said so. They could have worked something out."
Mr. Chivalry has spoken.

YES, but I would take care of a fine lady. You should always be on time and if not call and explain. Communication is the key.

Depends on why he was that late? Only if he had a legitimate reason, flat tire, traffic, etc. . If not then he's not worth bothering with. Go out and have fun and forget him.

Would I? Maybe. Should I? Not if I didn't call and let you know that I couldn't make it and try to reschedule or something. At some point, we all have to take responsibility for our actions.

Probably, because I would not show up that late intentionally and because it would show that she had someone lined up as a backup. I would have called to let her know to expect me late, if I could.
