This is the question that many Christians don't really like to think about. Their religion tells them that in Heaven they will become perfect beings, wanting nothing and living forever.

But do they really think about that? It might be fun for 1000 years, maybe even 10,000 years. But this isn't even a millionth of a percent of eternity. Eventually they will run out of things to do since there will be nothing new to discover, no goals to meet, no challenges to over come, even nothing new to create. What's left? Praising God all day? Sounds like having a frontal lobotomy to me.

Maybe this is what happened to God. He got so bored with eternity that he created mankind and put us through hell so that it would all be interesting. Maybe we're not even the first, just the latest.

Or maybe it's all a crock of bull and heaven is just a human invention to try to make us feel better about dying. I'm leaning towards this explanation.

There is no heaven or hell. They are tools made up by the priests and politicians to control people, to promise them of things "to come". This promise, and the misery in which people live, comes greed for heaven. They can then kill (as suicide "jihadis" bombers do) and go to heaven. A fine trick! Heaven can only be on earth. But everyone's life seems to be a hell. All attraction to religion is due to greed for heaven. If this myth had not been created, religion would have no followers and also, no money!

I don't think of heaven as in clouds and stuff, I believe the earth will go on forever, and G_d will restore earth to what it used to be like with Adam and Eve. So I guess there will still be jobs and stuff just everyone will get on and be perfect and you will have a cool invincible body which can play World of Warcraft and never get tired or hungry. Lots of food in heaven, talks of banquets and stuff.

Christians sure have a bleak future mapped out for themselves, don't they? They want to spend eternity on their knees, continuously praising and thanking God, who apparently is this huge egomaniac who desperately needs the praises of humanity in order to get through the day. "He will wipe every tear from their eyes." Well, one has to cry in order to have tears..what will they be crying about? I imagine they will be crying because of all their loved ones who AREN'T in heaven with them, but are in hell suffering unimaginable tortures for all of eternity because God can't deal with the fact that they never believed in him. That is what God does to people he doesn't like--he tosses them into eternal fire and gloats over their misery. When I think of every Christian mother weeping tears every day for infinity over every child who didn't make it to heaven, I am convinced that heaven, if it existed, would be the most evil place in the universe. Why would anyone want to go there?

Haven't got a clue.
I think that we will all have jobs.
Something to keep us occupied.
Perhaps I'll be field engineer tuning up suns in the universe.
Tweaking gravitational fields and such.

We do what ever pleases God and by doing that He pleases us and showers us with gifts. Don't ask why I said gifts...I don't know. But, this I am sure of He will see that we are happy no matter what we are doing.
