If you're using regular medicine cabinet style peroxide...
It wouldn't change at all.
There's not enough peroxide in there to actually do anything- household peroxide is only 3% peroxide.
You need to use a special peroxide available at salon suppliers to get any color change; these are usually 5% or more. It would depend entirely on how long you leave it on and how much you use to determine the color change; the most you could definitely say would be it would end up lightened.

I also have dark blackish hair. I tried the peroxide thing a few years back and got a brassy orange color after several applications. not too pretty on me.

It depends on how many times you've dyed it before and how long you leave it in.
Virgin hair will turn as light as you'd like.
Previously colored hair will turn orange-ish.
I would go to a professional and let me do it witht he right products that will work for your hair. Going to a salon will also cause less damage then at- home dye jobs.

It depends on what strength H2O2 that you use. The stuff that you get at the pharmacy for cuts would do nothing. W/ the stronger stuff that you get for bleaching hair it would depend on how long you leave it on in ocmbinatin w/ your hair type. Most 'black' hair isn't true black but instead it's a very dark brown (like mine). You can't tell it's brown unless you put it up against something that is truely black. If it's very dark brown & you bleach it w/ H2O2, it'll lighten thru shades of redish brown. If it's truely black, I'm not sure, but I don't think it'll lighten, not until it's to the point that it'lljust about fall apart!

Probably orange-blonde...please don't do this...it will ruin your hair and probably burn your scalp! Go ask a professional hair colourist at a good beauty salon how you may be able to dye your hair safely if you're unable to have it done professionally, or wait until you have the $ to do so.

It would be an ugly "I tried to lighten my dark hair with peroxide" color-my advise: don't try it. Go for some caramel highlights instead.
