My friends mother constantly beats her daughter with a belt as a form of discipline. I think its rather stupid, why? because her daughter took the time to clean and wash and polish the bathrooms of her house, then what happens? she gets beat with a belt and yelled inappropriate things, the reason? her mother says " you ****** did it all wrong". her mother, is a very nice lady, she lets her daughter go to the movies, she pays for it, they go shopping and everything. but then, her mother gets sudden mood swings and starts yelling and hitting her with metal spoons, belts, sandals, sticks, cell phone chargers, and one time she almost through a laptop at her when her daughter was only 9!!!!! All her life she's treaten her daughter since she was 8 like an adult, saying really rude things and hitting her. she says its a form of discipline, i think not because it is against the law and is considered " physical abuse". she also suffers lots of emotional abuse (the daughter) and....

I had a manager at my previous job who lied about his bi-polar condition which was rather extreme and he was exactly the way you describe this particular situation ... one moment they are in a sea of serenity and the next they are a turbulent chainsaw..

The best thing to do is going to have to be to call the authorities .. BUT before you do that make sure your friend is clear out of the house .. there's no telling what someone like her mother is capable of doing when pressure really kicks in .. one time during work my bi-polar manager actually picked up the phone and was ready to throw it at me until i stood up and got ready to defend myself so if this mother is capable of throwing laptops and cell phones at her flesh and blood there's no telling how far she'll go know what i mean?

If you are nervous about what to do then you can always take your friend out somewhere and make an anonymous call to the local authorities and tell them of the situation they can handle the situation very delicately .. maybe the mother doesn't even have to be in jail! maybe the mother can just be administered medicine to help with her violent tendencies .. it doesn't make the mother evil or dependent on drugs or anything it just makes the mother calmer and be able to spend more time with the daughter right?

good luck!

often harm administration. at the same time as before scandals broke in eire such as the Magdalene laundries for "fallen women", and the more effective recent abuse in baby's houses, the church guaranteed all of us that such complications were historic, that it had now replaced, and so we would not favor to agonize about the destiny. Apologies were given, and they tried to bypass on. the following we may be able to make certain all of it happening back, with a deadly disease custom of canopy-up printed, and so comprehend that the before tries were not something more effective than harm administration. Even particular churchmen being interviewed communicate of a "custom of unaccountability". This time, the Pope has nevertheless not acknowledged this kind of canopy-up custom, regardless of Irish and German (likely different) criminal investigators claiming that's persevering with, their investigations being obstructed. positively Brady could resign, and he's a few distance from the most culpable. It basically feels like harm administration all yet back.

That's not bi polar, that's abuse. It stems from the mother having unrealistic expectations. Report her before the daughter is seriously hurt, Since this has been happening since the daughter was 8, there is already psychological damage.

Don't waste another minute thinking about it. Call Children's Aid Society to come and investigate. You can remain anonymous. That poor child needs counselling NOW before she gets totally messed up. CAS will arrange all of that. Don't just think about it..DO IT....CALL!!

I think you need to notify child sevices or call the police station and they will direct you to someone, this mother needs to get some help she may need to be put on medication, but that is not an enviorment for a child to be in. PLEASE contact someone now for the sake of the child.

She may have Bipolar disorder or something. You should report it before the poor girl does something she might regret.
