OK, here is a serious answer to your question. First, there were several of His apostles there when he said this (how else could it have been recorded?) and, if you recall, they did see Christ after he had be resurrected and come into his kingdom.
OR, if you think this refers directly to the Second Coming, John the Beloved was promised to never taste of death until the Second Coming, which would make him still alive, and waiting for the Second Coming.

Jesus is not coming back the way people think. Jesus has come back in different books and such. Read A Course in Miracles. You'll also find out in that book that He didn't say eighty percent of what's in the Bible.
