God is love and your definition of love is not right... Love is the ability to say your sorry and mean it.

Because we are human, we fail... therefore, we have to ask for forgiveness when we fail.

Love does not mean never having to say you're sorry. As human beings we sin everyday. Since we sin against ourselves, others and God, we need to ask forgiveness. Through God's amazing grace we are given the gift of forgiveness, through the blood of Jesus Christ.

It doesn't say in the Bible that love is never having to say you're sorry. It does say in the Bible that God is love. And it also asks God to forgive us as we forgive others.

God is love, but who said love is never having to say you're sorry, I forget. Was it Ziggy, or that cute little nakie comic strip couple from about 30 yr.s ago?
Love is not "never having to say your sorry." I get really frustrated when the people I love don't say your sorry when they do something. True love is being able to acknowledge that you make mistakes, and being able to go to someone and say, " I really messed up, please forgive me." That is the type of love that includes God.
the idea behind the phrase was being so close to your mate that you "know" each other's thoughts, thus words aren't necessary sometimes.
"God is Love" and "love is never having to say your sorry" aren't comparable because you're talking about two different things.
Never have to say your sorry? Funny. Try forgetting your anniversary, or your spouse's birthday and not say your sorry.
Dog house for sure!!! :)

I don't recall when I read the Bible, that God said "love is never having to say your sorry" that was from a movie. Try to separate Hollywood from reality (God's word). If you want answers, read the Bible, then accept it or don't accept it, that is your choice. God did give us free will. Rewards, or consequences of each are also described in the Bible. If you have never read the Bible, first ask God to open your mind as well as your heart to help with understanding it. Although, we may never fully understand everything until we actually meet God, who inspired the writers.

Therre is no where in the Bible that it says love means never having to say your sorry . Jesus said that you should forgive or He will not forgive you . Ephesians 4:32 , Colossians 3:13

well...when you say sorry, you admit you were wrong.
i guess by 'love is never having to say you're sorry' you meant that the person you love already knows you are sorry.Do you love God?Jesus Christ?
Cause love involves respect too,and the best way to show respect is to ask for forgiveness.
Peace.

Who said love is never having to say you're sorry? Whoever said it didn't know the Bible, because the Bible says the goodness of God causes people to repent. When you really love someone, you are sorry if you hurt them.

God never said love is never having to say you're sorry....i believe that Hallmark Cards said that....we are born sinners and must ask forgiveness for our sins...we sin everyday.....but because God does love us, he gave his son Jesus, who died on a cross so that our sins can be forgiven...

love is never having to say you're sorry was aline from love story, a movie. not scripture.generally when a person is really sorry they want to be forgiven and that is why we go to God,for we realize that all we thought was hidden at the time wasn't really hidden from God.
