No some men have a NO idea about security.
I'm glad UR outta there, sounds like a mad-house!
I think U've had a lucky escape from a life of stress & a daily power-struggle between a bunch of spoilt kids!
He sounds like a control-freak.
Not all men R like that, if U're happy walking away from a man with nothing better 2 do than run UR life.
Good luck & better luck next time.
:)

Why are you even asking. Men know the word security. They provide it. He doesnt want a relationship or committment so why are you still around? He is not controlling you, you are letting yourself be controlled. You need to move on. If you need a man to feel secure, you should be alone and learn to be independent.

How can you say that 'men' do not want security from ONE experience with ONE man? I assure you a lot of men do, you've just got the wrong one. Men like this continue to be controlling for as long as you let them, so if you dont like it get out already.

Honey-
You don't need a man! This guy doesn't want a commitment and its sounds like you do! Tell him what you want & if he doesn't want it, then you have it decide itf you still want to be with hime & be miserable or let him go and find a man that wants the same things you do.
I think the ansewrs pretty much in your face after 3 years! Get on with your life!!

Im sorry to hear your ex was afraid of commitment, but i must say that not all men are the same. Some men are cowards, and some try their hardest. Please dont tar us all with the bad feelings u had about ir ex parnter.
He tells you what to do with your money because he sounds like he needs to be slightly controlling or dominant. If it irritates you tell him straight, that is none of his concern anymore. Good luck and hope you feel a lil happier soon...Adrian ;-)

Some people suck plain and simple. I met a woman that was amazing but she wanted to control my every move I wasn't feeling it. So i packed and left. It's a big world so your not going to vibe with every one. Personally I wouldn't have a woman move in with me unless we are engaged to me it's a respect thing you know. Don't get down, just remeber your always a day away from meeting someone your compatible with. Aight Peace

The mistake was to live with him when theres no engagement IMO. He takes you for granted this way. Unless people are engaged its a bad idea. And bossing you around sucks too. Some men do know but mine is taken..

I personally wouldn't put up with a man who tried to tell me what to do. I won't tell you how to live your life. But no, as long as I know who I am I feel like my life is validated. I give myself security.

Like it or not its become very easy for them to have women take care of them without marriage. There are plenty of women cooking, cleaning and doing their bf's laundry and just waiting around for a commitment/proposal. He wants to have his cake and eat it too. I say if anyone is going to eat cake it should be you. If you dont think he's worth it I'm sure your right.
