Benadryl cream works because Benadryl is a histamine blocker.

If you want to try a non-drug approach...

Believe it or not, you can dab some toothpaste on the bites -try it, it really works!

A paste made of baking soda and water works great too!

My grandma used mix baking soda and water into a paste.
Works like a charm.
