No. I'm a Christian and I hate to stand in line.
(There can be no "guilt" if there's no God...by the way.)

While some churches teach and believe that, a more careful reading of the Bible seems to indicate that your eternal destination is based on your pattern of actions and choices.
We can live for the flesh or for the spirit. That is, we can be base creatures, going for immediate gratification, or we can try to live according to higher principles- what one atheistic friend called 'enlightened self-satisfaction' or making choices that benefit others, and only indirectly help you.
Most of us fall somewhere in-between these extremes.
Hell (used in the popular sense- there is not much Biblical evidence people will end up in the pit designed for Satan) is the absense of God and thus those 'higher drives'. Choose a more animal-like life without the higher elements, and this is where you are chosing to end up.
Choosing the higher road, and you are choosing God-like attributes, thus choosing God- whether those are the terms you would use or not.
Obviously, I have no proof a god exists, but I know that making these kinds of choices feels good, and seems to help others. Does it really make a ton of difference if we label this god, spirit, soul, superego, or a function of upbringing?

I don't want anyone one going to hell. As a Christian you have to forgive others in a sense to be forgiven. If you hold on to any hate or grudges that's how your judged in the end. If I went around and blasted people for all their wrongs, guess what I'm gonna have a big finger pointed directly back at me, showing me all my wrongs. Ouch! I don't agree with a lot of the world, and if you ask my opinion I'll give it.
Why point out every ones sliver in their eyes when you have a big red wood tree in yours? (That's what keeps me grounded) Where to be examples of God's love. Judging is the next floor up. I mess up really bad in life, but that's why I'm a Christian. I'm not perfect or better than anyone else, I need to be taught and disciplined like a child in order to learn. I have hope now, peace and a fatherly figure in life to where I have never had any. I hope this answers any questions you had.

No decent person wants to see anyone go to hell.
There's that "proof" word again. People who need "proof" that God exists obviously haven't been paying attention.
God's Son died and then rose from the dead -- what more "proof" do you want?
The disciple Thomas demanded proof too -- then when he got it, he was profoundly humbled and maybe even a bit sad at himself for being so doubtful.
Don't be like that -- after all, Jesus told Thomas, "You believed because you saw me -- but happy are those who do not see and yet still believe."

It certainly would seem that way with some wouldn't it. I think that we, as non-believers (in my case agnostic) have a responsiblity to make these people understand what it is that they believe. I know, it probably sounds dumb, but in alot of cases, I have seen that the Atheist is better versed in scripture than the Christian, and whats more than that, they apply those teachings in alot of cases. Take pacifism for example. (this of course does not apply to all Atheists, or Christians, but what I generalize as being the majority of either. There are exceptions to the rule.) Good question.

If someone chooses not to believe in a god-head, then it's perfectly alright with me. And no, I would not like to see others tortured in hell.
Many times it's downright difficult to forgive, but if one wants to live up to their Christian faith then the test is to forgive.
How so difficult it is to forgive those terrorist who crashed into the World Trade Centers? Very. But it must be done if you want to grow spiritually.

I would forgive them, Will God?, probably if they repent. Admit they were wrong, feel sorrow, and not do it any more.
The whole idea here is to develop faith, belief in things unseen. It is not that the person is a failure, but that they didn't exercise Faith. It takes work. It is not something that mindlessly happens. It is developed and needs to be fed and nurtured daily. Also Faith needs to be tested.
God gives us plenty of opportunities to develop faith. A person is only accountable for the knowledge they receive or were willing to receive in this lifetime. The point is to acknowledge your own willingness or unwillingness to know the truth.

No - I, like God, would like to see all go to Heaven. It is not for me to forgive - but God does forgive when He is asked. I've just added new links on my web site - a Man by the Name of Gary Young has made proving the Bible easy: (it's in the Lessons from the Pulpit section)

God is love, there is not such a thing like hell or being tortured. Would you torture your kids for being naughty?? Our God is a God of forgiveness. Some of us will be close with him sooner and some of us later, but all of us will be with him some day.
Please don´t think of God in any negative way because he is perfect and to be perfect means everything positive.

of course Christian wouldn't want them to go to Hell, thats why Christians try to tell people what real reality is, and the reality is Jesus. He came here to teach you that you are wrong, you think you have all the answers, but you don't, and neither do i. You hate God so much, but just sit back and say to yourseld "I am wrong and God is right". Sorry that you feel the way you do, but God DID create you, and Jesus DID die for you, i am just not going to sugarcoat it, i love you, and so does the one you say doesnt even exist. thanks,
Matt
