That was a strange time in Christian History,, just one of many. God gave us free will, who am I to take it away? The only reason I would kill is to eat, to protect myself, country, and family.
If you want to be a witch, be one!

There are too many misconceptions about Christianity AND witchcraft. If I were a Christian, I would NOT kill a witch because of the commandment "Thou shalt not kill". By stating "Shalt not suffer a witch to live" it doesn't necessarily mean kill them, as has been interpreted in the past, which resulted in the infamous Witch Trials. This has been an ongoing, unrelenting battle since time immemorial (or at least since I can remember) and I doubt that it will ease up any in the near future. "Live and let live" I say because we are ALL of the human race - whatever path we choose to follow.

My Bible doesn't order killing a witch... not today anyways. No I wouldn't likk a witch. But I would kill a child molestor. No doubt! The funny thing about that as far as Christians and witchcraft, is that we are really not affected by it. Live and let live. God has the right to kill and if he doesn't, nor should we.

Any christian that says it is not in their bible hasn't read the OT. King David I believe said "Suffer not a witch to live". Anyways I am not christian rather I am one of the persecuted witches. I am tired of having to explain that I DON'T WORSHIP THE DEVIL! The devil is from the Chrisitan pantheon of beings. Witches are not christian, we have no "supreme evil being" our goddess will not allow for such negativity. Negative actions come from negative people and no supernatural being. Hmm wonder what the world would be like if things were reversed and Witchcraft was the primary religion and Christianity was considered evil? At one time it was a cult and considered diversive.

I don't know what Bible you are reading, but my Bible says nothing about "killing witches". The Bible I read talks about love and acceptance of all people. Especially those who persecute you or those who are different from yourself. Forgiveness and love are the key.

State your evidence for where the Bible orders us to kill witches!
No, I would not kill because in the Bible it says to not kill; more than that, to be like Jesus we would have to love like He did.

I am not a christian but I agree that a witch should be abolished in this world.God hates witches.A witcher is assisted by satans. If we believe a witch that we are tempted by satans or we believe there is another super power than our God Almighty.Believing other god/power than Allah as the only one God,is a great sin and Allah will not forgive us.In our holy Qur'an spoke that in Egypt in Fir'aun era there were many wirchers. So our God instructed Moses or Musa prophet with his brother Harun went to Egypt giving a learning to the people of Fir'aun and himself that there is only one God and Fir'aun was not a God.Moses'stick became a big snake which ate all snakes which have been created by the wellknown witchers of Egypt at that time.Moses saved all Jews accrossed the red sea.Moses himself since a baby was raised by the Fir'aun family especially his wife who was a muslimah.

Are you referring to "thou shalt not suffer a witch to live?"
A witch is nothing more that a practitioner of the ancient Wicca religion. Worshipers of Mother Earth and all she could provide. You don't kill people because they believe in something different!
AND is against God's laws.
Life is such a controversy..................Isn't it?
