Well as a general rule of thumb yes.....but if for example you eat 2000 calories per day to do a very gradual weight loss, if you eat say 3 meals at 8am, 1pm and 6pm it would make you put on more weight than if you were to eat as soon as you got up...1 meal every 2-3 hours and a total of 5-6 small meals a day...you would lose weight more because your metabolism is kickstarted earlier (which burns fat) and instead of eating a larger meal and shockloading your system with way over what is needed.....eating smaller portions allows the body to regulate your intake much easier. The best way to lose weight is to eat little and often.

Taking in more than you burn will cause weight loss and if carried on for a long time will lead to an eating disorder. The truth is that when we exercise lots but only eat a little eventually our bodies eat themselves and we become sick...recently the young girl from the show Reba confessed that exercising (for an hour after she had a cookie) was how she got started on her eating disorder which landed her in a rehab.

Inform yourself. Research it! Just a small amount of research will tell ya how much calorie intake you need for your body weight and how much exercise you need to do in order to build and tone muscle...so your body can utilize (get the most out of) your caloric intake. Unlike clothes...one size doesn't fit all...weight loss is as individual as we are...it's not always the same for every person.

As a general statement yes you will loose weight. But this will depend on your body composition before this all started. If you are over weight the body has a lot of energy reserves that have to burn before weight changes show up. Human body has a way of adjusting to lesser intake and manage at that level of intake.

You will lose weight. Your body needs energy and gets it from either the food you eat or the tissue in your body like fat. (Or from stored sugars in your body).

So, if you exercise a bit more...and don't eat more...your body will take some of its fat to use for fuel for energy.

This concept by the way...seems murkier to most Americans than vector calculus or quantum physics. Most seem to think the only way to lose the pounds and pounds of fat they have so happily added is through eating less...and they wonder how to obtain the magic pills and incantations that will burn years of accumulated fat off in a matter of days....usually before school starts in three weeks.

If the person is obese, yes you should lose weight, but If the person is not obese it can lead to many problems health wise. All humans are just that "Human" and to survive need to "Eat" In females if you do this "exercise" to extreme and yur not obese you may lose too much weight, become anemic, stop the periods, and cause abnormal heart rate rhythyms...........Hope that answers yur question.

You lose weight, but only if you are giving your body everything it needs. If you starve yourself or deprive yourself, your body will not burn fat, as it will think it has to hang on to everything it has in order to survive.

Eat a balanced, nutritious, healthy diet and exercise regularly if you want to lose weight.

Yes, you lose weight. Just don't do that too often, or you will have NO energy. Also, you do need a little bit of fat for your reproductive system to work.
