Burping is normal - as farting. Your body has to get the gas out. How much gas his tummy produces, depends on what you feed him.

Food that increase gas could be:
peas, cabbage, all kinds of beans, mineralwater with gas, rice, apples, potatoes, white bread - any kind.

Food that decrease gas could be:
meat, fish, vegetables/fruits containing fat like avocado, banana, whole grain bread,

It is not the matter of avoiding food that increase gas, just reduce the large intake - if it is large. Main issue is to vary what you eat and keep it nutricious.

Best wishes:)

It is normal for what they eat, just like adults, if they eat something gassy , they are going to have gas! If that baby don't burp and get it out, your going to a a very fussy baby cause it's belly is hurting from all the gas.

My two year old burps. Loud. If the child isn't acting uncomfortable then the child is fine. If they seem to have a tummy ache then bring it up at the next doctor's visit.
