I used to do it as a child but often lost the patience to carry one, maybe you could help me?

probably not, you'd be off by a mile or two and end up under the ocean in the south pacific

We would need your latitude and longitude to figure that out exactly but I think you would melt when you got to the middle.

Just get a globe and put your finger over where you live. Now look and see what is on the opposite side. I was always told it was China which is obviously wrong.

Depends on where you start. From where I am, I would wind up somewhere in the Indian Ocean. But of course it is impossible to do so because, when you get deep enough, the sides of the hole will not withstand the pressure and the hole will collapse.

Perhaps, after passing through the molten nickel center of the Earth which would most likely disintegrate you before you finished. Just a guess.

You would actually die before you penetrated the lowest level of the earths crust.. The deepest mines in the world e.g. the diamond and gold mines of South Africa are almost unbearably hot.

Yes you will, Nobody ever did it, so there is no proof if you keep digging you will hit magma. So you can be the one who proof it or reaches australia.

nope sorry it would get too hot melting your equipment because of the molten mantle and besides that the cose it solid made of iron and a few other things so its pretty hard lol

I think you would burn up from the extremely hot centre of the earth before you got anywhere
