It might have to do with the way they were brought up in their own homes. If they had a mom that did everything for them then they expect you to do the same. That's why you have to "train them", to pick up after themselves, to help around the house occasionally, or you will be just like their mom!

I don't think they all are, throw this one back and find one who isn't. If momma did everything for them then they will always be that way. If you don't like it, believe me you won't get used to it. Many of us do not want to be a grown man's mommy, some do. Let him find someone who likes it and you find a grown up who respects you as a person. Woman have been ripped off for too long. Why do you think most of the people who have achieved stuff in life are men? Because they had women to take care of the other stuff. There would be allot more women scientists, artists, etc. if we were not so busy picking up after someone else.

well i cant do it i never do it right...jeez if u have a baby with him....have fun staying uup 24/7 because they r so lazy 2 take care of the abby

Because the women in there lives have done it all for them. If you want it to change, discuss it h your mate not complain to hime about it. Tell him you need more help. Don't expect an over night miracle.
If no changes occurs. Don't clean his mess. Sooner or later, (maybe) he won't like living in a pig stied!

it just depends on how everyone is RAISED! if we are raised to be responsible we won't be 'lazy' etc. it's also the partner's responsibility to speak up and not act like a doormat (enabler) to their lazy (badly trained) partner.

It's our job. We'd like to help out more but we're afraid of upstaging our wives.
Besides...I'm wrong no matter what I do...so I might as well be wrong and be comfortable.

Because of us wives do it all for them. I tell my husband if you wanted to marry your mother than you should move back home. I am not here to serve you....Make him do it himself....Good Luck
