Go to your local sports store, or paintball shop. Their prices will be somewhat high, and not a huge selection however. Wal-mart (if you have one near you and most do) has a rather large selection, and resonable prices as they can buy in large quantity. Just go to the sports section of the store, near the gun section.

Go to walmart near the hunting section, they have a small variety, but if you just want something cheap it should be ok...

***** is good too...

If you want cheap but good still look at dropping about 115 to 150 on a Spyder of some sort... then another 75 to 100 on paintballs, cO2, mask and hopper.

I wouldnt reccomend buying anything less than 100$ but try not to get anything too complicated. Example: mine is electric firing mechanism, its nice because can change the rate of firing but is already having trouble... basically the more complex and the more parts the more stuff there is to break while your playing.

(also probably want to invest in a cleaning kit too)

It depends on wht you are looking for in a marker. If you are interested in woodsball I would suggest going with a tippman 98, or A-5 (but those can get a little expensive) if you ar looking for speedball, I would suggest anything that you cn shoot fast!! lol but seriously I would probably say for a starter, go with the Smart Parts ION, or maybe the Worr Games trilogy Competition, a low end autococker. If you want to play a little of both, I would sugest a spyder, they do get a bit heavy though

first and foremost it is a paintball marker. do not spend a lot of money on a marker if you are just beginning the sport. go to a paintball store and tell them you are a rookie, what do they suggest. please buy a decent mask, wear gloves and something around your neck. i learned the hard way on all of these issues, have fun

tippman 98 is about $ 110, and you can always add to it. xpaintball.com has some good deals. cheaper then your local sports shop. get at least one 20 oz CO2 container and a 12 oz. later
