I will answer this with the same answer I have already given (and gotten a best answer for) on what was here before the big bang:

One of the greatest questions if not the greatest ever asked probablly. This is definitly a philosophical and not a scientific question. I've heard all the scientific and new age jargon for I have no clue. When you think about it, it makes more sense to conclude that something has always existed (Which I believe is God) then for something to be created from nothing. Pi and non perfect squae square roots are very difficult to deal with because they go on to infinity without a clear patern. The universe also stretches on for infinity as far as we can tell. Yet, I have never heard of something coming from nothing. We cannot comprehend infinity because we have finite minds. God probablly kept us from understanding this because it is a key to the universe. How much more powerful is a device that can control the very fabric of the universe then an atomic bomb. If we fully understood hurricanes then we could control them. Likewise, God keeps us from knowing these things because he is the rightful controler of the universe which humbles us. Somehow these infinitly long numbers form pi and most square roots and likewise God's infinite history forms what He is today. We might never truly understand it, but the best explanation is still that God is "the Alpha and the Omega; the beggining and the end". He was, is, and always will be.

You are right when you said God made everything! But who made God? The scripture definitely concluded the existence of a higher being whom we call GOD. The bible does not affirm that there is God, but the existence of God, who is holy and almighty.

The scriptures says "He is the beginning and the End" "The Alpha and the Omega" "The First and the Last" He is called the great "I AM".

Who made God? No one did. He was not made. He has always existed. Only things that had a beginning—like the world—need a maker. God had no beginning, so God did not need to be made.

For those who are a little older, a little more can be said. traditionally, most atheists who deny the existence of God believe that the universe was not made; it was just “there” forever. They appeal to the first law of thermodynamics for support: “Energy can neither be created nor destroyed,” they insist. Several things must be observed in response.

First, this way of stating the first law is not scientific; rather, it is a philosophical assertion. Science is based on observation, and there is no observational evidence than can support the dogmatic “can” and “cannot” implicit in this statement. It should read, “[As far as we have observed,] the amount of actual energy in the universe remains constant.” That is, no one had observed any actual new energy either coming into existence or going out of existence. Once the first law is understood properly, it says nothing about the universe being eternal or having no beginning. As far as the first law is concerned, energy may or may not have been created. It simply asserts that if energy was created, then as far as we can tell, the actual amount of energy that was created has remained constant since then.

Further, let us suppose for the sake of argument that energy—the whole universe of energy we call the cosmos—was not created, as many atheists have traditionally believed. If this is so, it is meaningless to ask who made the universe. If energy is eternal and uncreated, of course no one created it. It has always existed. However, if it is meaningless to ask, “Who made the universe?” since it has always existed, then it is equally meaningless to ask “Who made God?” since he has always existed.

If the universe is not eternal, it needs a cause. On the other hand, if it has no beginning, it does not need a cause of its beginning. Likewise, if a God exists who has no beginning, it is
absurd to ask, “Who made God?” It is a category mistake to ask, “Who made the Unmade?” or “Who created the Uncreated?” One may as well ask, “Where is the bachelor’s wife?”

For all those who say "God always has been" I'll ask you this. Think about the concept you've just come up with....

If God has always existed, then there's been an infinite amount of time before he created man. That's not a long amout of time, it's an infinite amount of time. I'll try to explain...

If you have an infinite amount of time, then there's not only no beginning to it, but by definition there can also be no end. Were there to be an end to an infinite amount of time, then we'd have come up with the concept of infinity plus x, which would surely still be infinity! Obviously this means that nothing can happen at a particular time within an infinite time scale (a bit like saying that an object is 500 yards into infinity, it's just not possible)

So...

We have to take not only the time before human existence as being infinite, but also the time encompassing our reign on earth, and the time thereafter.

Now, i should also mention that infinity, by definition, contains all results of every infinite possibility, or rather everything will happen (think of the famous idea of an infinite amount of chimps at typewriters, one will type the complete works of shakespeare) This means that we're not unique, as a similar us must have existed before ourselves, and will exist again after us.

So, where does this leave us with relation to God?

It wouldnt be a case of us being of so small a timespan as to be inconsequential, more that we'd be operating within a different set of dimensions (if God always has been, and always will be, then time will be of no relevance. The only way i can describe our relation to God would be to use an analogy, and compare a mile to a minute. They're both totally different concepts, ad therefore incomparable.

So, taking all this into consideration, is it possible that we were created by an entity that is within a different framework to us, and would probably have no concept of our own space/time dimensional constraints?

Well.....

It would explain some things. for a start, if God doesnt exist within the constraints of time and space, then God could occupy all times and spaces at the same time, otherwise known as omnipotency. Creation could be done (seemingly to us) instantly, Jesus wouldn't neccessarily be coming back from the dead, he'd just be existing ,pre crucifixion, at a time that happened to be, to us, after the event.

Where do i stand on all this? personally, I'm not a Christian, though do believe a lot of the Bible is based on truth. However, the idea of a non space/time dimensional "God" does make a lot of sense. Not sure i believe, not sure i don't, but it's an interesting idea.

This question has been asked by every human being on the face of the earth and at least once a day on this site.

No one on the face of the earth will ever give you the answer for that because no one knows. God knows and that's good enough for me. We wouldn't be able to understand even if He did tell us. Some day tho, Christians WILL know.

Wow! You really sparked an interest today with this question!! Not that many questions get this many answers!!

The aspect of beginning and end (time) is a earthly aspect - God has been and always will be - He has no Beginning and No end - only this Earth will have an end - and it is not Armageddon and has nothing to do with the Anti-Christ or the mark of the beast - My web site explains more:

''...No one Made God.....

"The spirit of God was over the earth". God is a supernatural being. Not human, and we will never know what he is or what he looks like. He is the word. He is the Law. He is the beginning and the end. So, there's no making him, there's just making US. ''

Ah the fame question. Human beings need an origin of everything but then you run into a paradox. As much as religion tries, sometimes we have to expect, there is no answer. There are many folds to this mystery of life, the universe, etc. We can pull over each one, but there is always another.
