Because it is gross. Armpit hair is a way of showing bad hygiene in my opinion.

Because maybe it's just not your thing, it could be a major turn-off for you - just like a turn off for me is when guys have really really hairy hands. You know what I mean? However, if it bothers you, just don't look at it when their little hairs there. Or realize it's natural and everyone grows hair there, but the only difference is that women are expected to shave it. I hope this helps you and be glad you don't live in France...they don't shave their armpits there. Take care!

because for one it is really gross and you are used to a women not haveing hair in her arm pit and when people see something not normal they freak out but personally it is disgusitng and that is that

i don't like it either... and i AM a female. i feel that if a female has hair on her armpits that she should cover it up or shave it off!!

I dont know, ask your lady friend to shave it off, if it bothers you that badly......or buy her a waxing kit, so that it wont come back for a while.

same reason why girls get somewhat grossed out with a nasty harry chest.. it just looks gross.
