Yes. High blood pressure is a disease of the Endothelium, which is the one-cell thick layer of cells that line the interior wall of the blood vessels (it is NOT a disease of 'heart rate').

Obesity increases the risk for hypertension because is associated with the presence of many of the harmful conditions (inflammation, oxidative stress, nutrient imbalances) that damage the endothelium. However, these underlying problems are often present in the absence of obesity.

Yes they can. High blood pressure although it is common in fat people is a disease related to heart rate. There are direct realations between obesity and heart diseases but there are diseases of thin people where u get high blood pressure.

Yes if thin person drinks alcohol under alot of stress high salt intake these can destablize the internal hormones that regualate blood pressure.
