Have you ever been in love but you know that it is not good for your future? Like you know that you are gonna be happy with that person but you know that your future will not be that great with her. Your heart tells you have to but your mind tells you to back off, she's trouble!!!

well it's definitely true u cannot choose who u love... sometimes someone just means so much to you, gets so intimate and close, that u can't imagine being w/ someone else.... *however*, ur work is not done yet! what u have to do, is make sure that person feels the same about you.. if they are on the same page and have same goals as you, most likely you will be able to work together to form a positive and strong committment, regardless of what life throws at you. however, if u love someone who is selfish, lazy, immature, or just doesn't know how to fulfill ur needs, then that is when you have to listen to your mind, and not your heart.
i define love as this: you care for someone SO MUCH that you want what is BEST for that person.. you put their happiness above yours.
so if u love someone so much u want what's best for them, and that person loves u so much she wants the best for you, then you cover EVERYTHING.....all ur hurts, she will care for. all her hurts, u will care for. u both will do what u can to make things work, because there is strong commitment there. but without that love fueling ur desire to continue *working* and growing the relationship, you end up in an unhealthy relationship.

I am having the exact same feelings. My heart loves my bf so much and when i think about him it just bursts with joy. But then my mind keeps telling me how its not the best relationship i can have and i know i can do better and we dont work as well as what we both could have maybe with someone else. And it gets stronger whenever we have an argument or something!
However i have decided to just try and change some of my behaviour patterns and the way i react to things to see if that helps and i have to say i am begining to have less and less doubts in my mind, bc sub conciously he is changing his behaviour patterns as well and bit by bit our relationship is begining to work properly and we are begining to work together again!

Yes it is weird! But I think if the person is bad for you and your future then you need to let them go. But sometimes the heart knows best and the heart knows that maybe that person will change and everything will work out for the best. Love conquers all!

It's not weird - it's you leading her on. The minute you knew it wasn't a smart match for the long term then you shouldn't have wasted any more of your or her time. Love is not that selfish.
