I never hear Muslims take a stand against terror. Since the Muslim name is so tarnished you would think they would speak out more and get out into society and prove their peace movements.Since they don't , that tells me they must secretly advocate this reign of terror-
Which truly should concern everyone.

They are afraid. Like in Lebanon, they know that the terrorists live in the middle of them and they still stay there and then when they get bombed they cry like babies. If you have missle launchers in the house next door, what are the chances of it being bombed when they launch?? 100%, so then why don't they leave?? They are afraid and they also don't like the US or Israel, so they stay and put their head in the ground .. They keep their kids with them and when the leaflets come they ignore them and then the bomb and they then cry like babies.. Not at all sensible...
This all raises many questions..
Why did lebanon tolerate hezbolla?
Why do the civilians think they can live with terrorists and not get burned too..
If the violent muslims are a small percent why don't the peaceful ones take over and eliminate them??
Here in Calif. there were 2 muslim terrorist cells in a mosque here, why do the peaceful ones tolerate them if they are a minority.??
What they say and what they do are not consistant so the bad guys take over.

Alright. I have to pose a question back to you: "If Christians claim to be loving and peaceful, why don't they take a stand against the radical Christian fundamentalists who are trying to make this country a theocracy?"

I believe some Muslim's don't stand up against the wrongs they see happening for the same reason some Christians don't stand up for the wrongs they see happening in the US.

If your theory that these Muslims who don't speak up means that they secretly support this reign of terror, then it also must be true that Christians who do not speak up against the wrongs of their radical right and extremists are also supporting a separate reign of terror.

Cast stones within Christianity and straighten up the problems in there before you cast them on those outside of it.

I've seen more Muslims stand up against the wrongs of these terrorists than I've seen Christians standing up against the wrongs of their terrorists. Look at history, honey. Christians have killed more people on this planet than any other religion. When the Muslim's took over Jerusalem, they spared the lives of the Jews and Christians living there. When the Christians took over Jerusalem, they killed almost every living inhabitant of the city.

Christian extremists have long been the most violent of religions.

Have you tried talking to any Muslims? Have any Muslim friends? Just because you don't see them saying anything on the news (which is biased against them) dosn't mean they arn't against terror. Every Muslim I have ever met is very adimant about the terrorists not being true Muslims and how they are tarnishing Islam.

Where are you based? The US? If so, then no wonder you don't hear it. You're not SUPPOSED to hear it. It's not reported.

If you are here in the UK, you'll hear it plenty if you turn on the news. I'm not gonna claim any faith is perfect, but you certainly can hear the voice of moderate Islam over here, and they're plenty furious about the actions of violent extremists.

By the same token, do you hear moderate Catholics denounce the actions of extremist Christians who kill or threaten doctors in abortion clinics? And if you don't hear it, does that tell you that Christians secretly advocate these hateful actions?
Just a flipside to consider.

Most Muslims don't support terrorism. I know of no Muslim that tolerates such actions. You need to open your eyes and stop generalizing. If you're not involved with the group that commits the crimes, how can you stop them?

The fact that you are generalizing and assuming that terror is part of Islam concerns me.

Muslims do take a stand on defeating terrorism. Look at saudi Arabia and Kuwait. They are helping the American coalition.

they do, even if some fellow muslim extremist think that they are betrayers. but does a muslim condemning terrorism make a good headline story? better than a muslim suicide bomber that succeeded in killing however many people and injury however many more? good things dont make as big of a shocker than bad things, which is why a lot of good things go unnoticed.

The main reason is they fear god above all else.It is an unforgivable sin for a musslim to lift a hand against his brother.Although they appear not to care they do.but thease fannatics are of the minority, and its the true gods judgement(Allah) to hand down his judgements.Jesus is as much revered by musslims as is Muhammad(my his name be blessed.) so the awnser to your question is a basic law from the Koran.
