IF I HAD MY LIFE TO LIVE OVER
by Erma Bombeck

I would have talked less and listened more.

I would have invited friends over to dinner even if
the carpet was stained and the sofa faded.

I would have eaten the popcorn in the "GOOD" living
room and worried much less about the dirt when someone
wanted to light a fire in the fireplace.

I would have taken the time to listen to my
grandfather ramble about his youth.

I would never have insisted the car windows be
rolled up on a summer day because my hair had
just been teased and sprayed.

I would have burned the pink candle sculpted like a
rose before it melted in storage.

I would have sat on the lawn with my children and
not worried about grass stains.

I would have cried and laughed less while watching
television and more while watching life.

I would have gone to bed when I was sick instead of
pretending the earth would go into a holding pattern
if I weren't there for the day.

I would never have bought anything just because it
was practical, wouldn't show soil or was guaranteed
to last a lifetime.

Instead of wishing away nine months of pregnancy,
I'd have cherished every moment realizing that the
wonderment growing inside me was the only chance
in life to assist God in a miracle.

When my kids kissed me impetuously, I would never
have said, "Later. Now go get washed up for dinner."

There would have been more "I love you's" ... more
"I'm sorry's" ... but mostly, given another shot at life,
I would seize every minute ... look at it and really see it ...
live it ... and never give it back.

Attitude, by Charles Swindoll

"The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company...a church...a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past...we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude...I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you...we are in charge of our Attitudes."

I couldn't decide so here are a few...

The problem is not the problem, the problem is your attitude about the problem...Got That?

Life isn't about how many breaths you take...it's about how many of life's moments take your breath away.

Work like you don't need the money
Love like you've never been hurt
Dance like nobody's watching
Sing like nobody's listening
Live like it's heaven on earth

Life's not about sitting and waiting for the storm to pass.....it's about getting out there and dancing in the rain.

"No more, I see no reason to be,
Not for a dream, not for a lie,
Not for a queen, not for a king
Not for the words in the song that you sing,
The way we live, the way we die,
The way it is - hold your head up
The way we live, the way we die,
The way it is - hold your head up

1845!
1845!
1845!
1845!

Let's take another ride (x4)

No more, I see no reason to die,
Not for a flag, not for a high,
Not for a god, not for a book,
Not for the world and the way it should look
The way we live, they way we die,
The way it is - hold your head up
The way we live, the way we die,
The way it is - hold your head up" Brian 'yap' Bary
