If they only take in Pakis ( a Canadian term) or Indians , they will be a 3rd world country. These people come with 3rd world degrees past the immig. officers. I don't quite have the points (67) My wife has a masters degree from Moscow, but hasn't worked in 10 yrs. We want better for our girl, than the u.s. I read one can live in Canada a yr. without a landed resident paper. The govt states one must file from here to Buffalo. Give me the REAL INFO. someone. Can I move to Vancouver and file from there. What about work without a work permit? I am not some mex. I was a union trucker in Illinois 25 yrs. I am sure I could get a trucking job there easy if I wanted. I can see your pt. The u.s. is not stronger for being a melting pt. I have seen Chicago 54 yrs.Asking impartially! Why is it almost all of the bad news is in the black and Mexican areas?? I don't hear of shootings in the areas where the housing is $500 grand, up north there are Jewish people there . I know Chicago is still segregated, It is money segregated. Da. I never knew the word **** re: mex, I was only abbreviating. We all know the politicians use the RA RA talk about freedoms. Bush left the Black people to drown, they are people, alas not the pillars of the community. Many were drugs dealers.I would go buy the rules, we did when she came here. The rules take too long. When I tried to get an appt at the Univ Med ctr for my wife , Impartially , a few doctors one had to wait 2 months, The man with the turban one could get to see in three days. He gave us the brush off. A neurologist. Why were they so unresponsive? My wife was and still is suffering. Our med sys is not great

Contact a Canadian consulate or go to their website about migrating. Why post your anti-american rant? Just log off Answers and do a freaking Yahoo Search. If you're unhappy in the US go back to Russia, stop your f***ing whining. You aren't here as a jail sentence, you chose to come here.

First..we do not like terms such as "mex" or "****" they are derogatory and racist, despite what you might think. Second..if you come to Canada and work without a permit, you will be deported when discovered. Third..Canada accepts people from many nations, it is what makes us a strong country, our diversity and willingness to learn about others. You do not sound as though you would fit in to that mind set. Fourth, yes there is a demand for experienced truckers in parts of this country. Fifth..foreign degrees mean nothing (unless from a country with an educational agreement) there are many Doctors for example who are working as cab drivers because they cannot get accreditation from our organizations. If you wish to move here, you must file from your current residence. To live here, you need to have a permit or visa. If you have a job lined up, then it would be no problem. Lastly..have you ever heard of the "Green card?" Methinks this is the kettle calling the pot black. Your question sounds very offensively phrased. If you approach the matter in this way with the immigration department..forget it. The last thing we need in this country is more racist attitudes.

As for the real info on immigrating to Canada.... you can't work in Canada without a work permit, you will be deported as soon as they find out you are. In order for you to work in Canada you require a social insurance number and you can't get that until you are a permanent resident. You can enter Canada as a visitor and extend your stay but as far as filing paperwork...has to be outside of Canada unless you have a family member in Canada willing to sponsor you. Then it is a whole different ball game.

As for your trucking well yes we do need truckers, and if your company can do the paper work prior then once you get to the border they will issue you a work permit and you can go from there. But you need to have that prior, find a company that hires foreigners and everything can be taken care of.

Unfortunately the Canadian Website... is the best source of information that I can give you, with the phone number.

As for Vancouver....nice city really expensive. Basic house in the suburbs will run you around $300- $400,000. Building boom right now, I use to live there for 15 years...live in the prairies now. Nice house will cost you anywhere between 80,000-300,000 depending on where you want to live.

First of all: Congratulations! Canada is by far a better destination than the US. What follows is in Spanish.

lmao....why would you want to pick cabbages in Manitoba?Newfoundland has the best farmland in Canada...I hear they sell it for a reasonable price...you could be self employed! By the way...if farming isn't your thing...I hear they are looking for snake hunters in Nfld as well.
