He only will eat fancy feast. Ive been trying to get him on hard foor by mixing it in. he wont even eat any other soft food. And wheni try and be bold & keep other soft/hard food out, he doesnt eat it! he hasnt touched it and i gave it to him yesterday! What should i do?

He surely wont die in 2 or three days without eating, i had a sick cat who didnt eat anything for 2 months till he was totally healed.
Your kitty begins to eat when he'll feel hungry.
But it might be that he just doesnt like the food you are giving him, as my cat refused to eat dry food for 0,5 year, then we changed the type which is the mix of like 5 different tastes, and he spits out one of the taste constantly.
mixing food doesnt work for my cat as he is clever and knows how to unmix it..

my cat is the same way. they don't like change. if i mix anything into her food, she will leave it in her bowl and the ants will get into it. if they get hungry enough they will eat it, but then they eat very slowly and turn to glare at you every 5 seconds. i gave up. my cat has eaten the same food since she was little. if you really want your cat to eat hard food, just keep doing it and they will eventually eat it. after a few weeks he will forget that your mixing it, then slowly add more hard food. but as she has gotten older (she is 5 now), i noticed that she cares less about what she eats. she never ate people food as a kitten and hated food with fish flavor. i was shocked when the other day she actually ate the juice from tuna fish. she would have never done that as a kitten.

Maybe try Kitty Kaviar sprinkled on the Fancy Feast, then if he likes it, sprinkle it on the food you want him to eat. My kitten is the same age and he ADORES Kitty Kaviar.

well try putting the juice in with the dry food or getting moist food he might be a little freaked out by the change or maybe he doesn't like the type of dry food. try feeding it to him
