It doesn't matter you have 2 eggs, or 5, or even 10.
Put the egg(s) inside the cooking pot. Fill in with water until all eggs are covered. Bring to boil. Then when the water is boiling, you start to count the time. You'll need 10 mins for it.

You would boil 1 egg or 2 eggs or a dozen for the same amount of time. Start timing when the water boils. The egg size does matter. I only buy jumbos and they boil in 10 minutes.

The way I always it is to put the eggs in the water (just enough water to cover the eggs), bring the water to a boil, turn the stove eye off, and let the eggs sit in the hot water for 10 minutes. You have perfect boiled eggs and you have saved electricity! This same principal works for 2 eggs or a dozen. Five minutes will give you soft boiled eggs.

Whether you boiling 2 eggs or 10, the amount of time is the same.
What I do is put the eggs in the water, turn the stove on and set my timer to 15 mins, the eggs are always hard boiled perfectly!

Unless you're using a microwave oven to boil the eggs, the time is same no matter the number of eggs -- 15 minutes. By the way i would recommend you boil eggs in the microwave. I will take you years to get the egg off the walls of your oven.

boil the eggs for 7-8 minutes then immeditaly drain hot water off of them and cover them with a little cold water and ice. This will cool them off rapidly. I have also found that if I put 1/4 teaspoon of real salt in the water when I first start to cook the eggs, the eggs will be easier to peel. Also start off with fresh eggs that are only one or two weeks old.

How long you boil them has nothing to do with how many eggs there are. Once the water boils, boil them for 10 minutes, then immediately dump the boiling water and add cold water. They'll be perfect.

Put the eggs in cold water in a cold pan (works best if the eggs are at room temp). Turn on the heat, until boiling. Turn off heat and cover. The eggs will be ready in 15 minutes.

The amount of time to boil one egg or both eggs should be the same. If it takes 9mins to boil an egg, then it'll take 9mins to boil two eggs. To get a properly cooked egg, you'll need about 10-12mins. Hope this helps.

If it's a hard boiled egg you should only boil it for a few mins to warm it up.
If you want to hard boil an egg I suggest 10 mins
