Yes, but like most have said, it's for health reasons, not religious. There is nothing that I know of in our doctrine that says a boy/man has to be circumsized.

I don't have children yet, but I have some other LDS friends who have had their baby boys circumcised. They said they mostly did it for health and cultural reasons. It's easy to get infections, if you don't keep your foreskin very clean, and that's often hard for little boys to do (I had a friend who got circumcised when he was 8 because of an infection - ouch!). The cultural reason is that it's still just normal to do in this country, and it seems that boys that are uncircumcised frequently get teased in the locker room, and parents want to protect their kids from that. Yeah, I've never heard a religious reason quoted, it's not at all required by the church anyway, most of the LDS parents I've talked to in other countries don't do it,

so long story short - it doesn't really matter to the church whether they do or not.

Yes we have our sons circumsized. Not for religious reasons for health reasons.

The law of Circumcision was a sacrifice. This type of sacrifice was fulfilled when Christ fulfilled the greater sacrifice.

It is not necessary and is a personal choice rather than religious choice. So, some lds Christians may.

I would hope not. The only males who should be circumsized are Jews, because it is their belief. All others should remain intact.

Not required no. Its done these days as more of a health choice then a religious one.

The Bible clearly states that males should be circumcized on the 8th day of life, and that applies to ALL males, not just jews.
